since within our company most individuals have prior teaching experience,
ranging from K-12, to technical schools, to the university level.
Part of our mission is to continue to educate our youth with GIS technology.
Many educational institutions are customers of Ascent GIS, and we strive to
contribute to non-profit educational endeavors as well. Ascent GIS will continue
to maintain close ties to the educational community. The future of youth is our
future as well!
One of our successes was the "GIS DAY
2000" event held in conjunction with Ascent GIS at the University
of Idaho Research Park in Post Falls, Idaho. Over 100 students, educators,
and private citizens took advantage of the hands-on learning event!
